As an artist who's driven by her activism first, Daniela Sea's not afraid of the F-word. Feminism, that is, a movement she's embraced from her early days in punk rock to her current career as an actor and filmmaker living in LA.
Lately she finds the right blend of acting and activism by rallying behind V-Day, the non-profit founded by playwright Eve Ensler, that works to end violence against women and girls. V-Day has taken a simple concept - community-based theater as a tool for fundraising, outreach and empowerment - and with it has made a huge impact, raising to-date over $75 million in 130 countries to support anti-violence groups worldwide.
